I would prefer if you could do it. I am not very familar with inkscape,
and the icon creation here is almost the only case where I use it.
This happend before in #959885, but was not really reproducible.
And it still is not for me:

You did not use the "--batch-process" option. If you add this, you get
the crash. From the man page, this option is mandatory for batch processing.
