This is offtopic for the bug, but: Other way round for me. some version around 92 i see huge speed up, at least for youtube. seems before that it was sotwareish (typically 1080p took around 300% cpu) now it is around 130% for all processes. Firefox for the first time in 6 years on same hw could play 4k on intel. I spent some time investigating my 300% before, and learned a lot - that they enabling va-api and etc. slowness/fastness seems depend on the content you trying, configuration of your hardware, etc etc discussion would be way out of scope of this bug.
