Package: bind9-dyndb-ldap Version: 11.9-3 Followup-For: Bug #999463 X-Debbugs-Cc: jarl.gullb...@gmail.com
I have a similar issue, though I am unsure if it has the exact same cause. In my case, bind9 refuses to start because ldap.so attempts to load an older version of libdns-*-Debian.so (namely, libdns-9.16.21-Debian.so). The version available in sid is 9.17.19-2, and the one in bullseye is 9.16.15. Neither of these satisfy ldap.so, and so the startup fails. Incidentally, this is a blocker for freeipa-server as well. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.14.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages bind9-dyndb-ldap depends on: ii bind9 1:9.17.19-2 ii bind9-libs 1:9.17.19-2 ii libc6 2.32-4 ii libkrb5-3 1.18.3-7 ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.59+dfsg-1 ii libuuid1 2.37.2-4 bind9-dyndb-ldap recommends no packages. bind9-dyndb-ldap suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
