You upload it to experimental and not Sid. You will need another
upload. But then, I think it will be fine.

finally lerc is in the archive.
We finalized the symbol file and uploaded to unstable.
Doesn't build on s390x thus it will not migrate to testing; at least
it should be fixed.

As far as I can understand it should be able to migrate anyways since there is no regression. If it is not the case I will need to change Arch: any to a long list of architectures.
The problem is that LERC does not supports BE upstream.

Please note that liblerc only supports LE architectures.
Is this an issue from your point of view?
Would be better if it supports all architectures. Is it hard to
provide BE support?

I agree with you, but, as I said before, BE is not supported upstream at the moment and an implementation could be tricky IMHO.

So yes, I would say that it is hard to provide BE support in the near future.

I have prepared a very small patch for libtiff.
You can find it on salsa [1].
  Thanks, I will test it.

Cheers,
Laszlo/GCS
