Package: rust-nitrocli Version: 0.2.4-1 I was preparing a "no-change" reupload of rust-nitrocli, so it would no longer be built against the obsolete rust-rand-os package (for which I plan to file a removal request). Since I prepared this with debcargo, it picked up an increase in debcargos default debheper compat level from 11 to 12. This resulted in a build failure.
dh_dwz -O--buildsystem=cargo dwz: debian/nitrocli/usr/bin/nitrocli: Couldn't find DIE at [c13b] referenced by DW_AT_abstract_origin from DIE at [1d11a] dh_dwz: error: dwz -- debian/nitrocli/usr/bin/nitrocli returned exit code 1 dh_dwz: error: Aborting due to earlier error make: *** [debian/rules:3: binary] Error 2 dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules binary subprocess returned exit status 2
I have set the debhelper compat level for the package back to 11 for now, but I feel this is something that should be documented in a bug report.
