Stappers: git repo at Salsa sounds good.

I'd like to create it/set it up myself if that's okay/possible.
Plan would be to have a tagged upstream branch, with packaging
living in master.

If you have to do it, then go ahead.

I did read about a way to check for upstream. It looks like Lorenz
has unblocked us here, so I'll see about doing that.
