Package: collectd Version: 5.12.0-8 Severity: serious Justification: rc policy: "packages must be buildable within the same release"
collectd build-depends on liboping-dev, which is rc buggy and was removed from testing recently in an attempt to finish off the perl transition. This makes collectd rc buggy in testing. Potential soloutions (in descending order of preference) 1. Fix liboping, it seems there is a patch available but there has been no maintainer response for months and I won't NMU myself because I have no idea how to test it. 2. Disable liboping support in collectd (the fact that the runtime relationship is only a reccomends makes me suspect that this relates to optional functionality).
