Thanks to Niels Thykier, the proposed fix [1] was merged over the
weekend. When debhelper is next released, this should at least deal with
the issue for future package builds. However, packages built after the
release of 13.4 (which first incorporated the fix for #989155 which
caused this issue) ought to have a rebuild in order to correct their
generated maintainer scripts.
I've had a search of DCS [2] (thanks to Christian for informing me of
this excellent resource!) and gone through all packages that match
--no-(stop-after|restart-(on|after))-upgrade in their source (I've
stripped out those that obviously don't apply like debhelper itself, or
the odd one that only mentioned these in their historical changelogs, or
within their code, like dh-runit).
The resulting list is ~80 packages long but please bear in mind that
this *may not* be comprehensive. In particular, packages might be using
the short form of these options (-r or -R), but for obvious reasons
searching for these forms would be impractical. Still, I have a sneaking
suspicion that most package maintainers tend to stick to the long-form
of these options so I'd hope the list captures the majority of packages
that need rebuilding.
Once the fix makes it into a debhelper release, the following packages
