There have been only two people requesting this functionality in over a decade. Making these settings preseedable would mean that adduser.conf could no longer be a conffile, which means that a lot of error-prione code is needed to handle local changes to the file. I do not think that this is worth doing at the moment with such a big number of bugs that might be more useful to people. I am therefore de-prioritizing this even more, but would consider a merge request containing a tested patch, documentation and test cases for autopkgtests. Greetings Marc
