Package: xpad Version: 5.7.0-2 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer,
- After version 5.4.0-2 disabling the display of window decorations no longer works. I'm using Debian 11 with the i3wm-gaps (i3wm fork) window manager and Compton (Picom fork). I still see the window borders. - APT installed version 5.7.0-2, I removed it to roll back to 5.4.0-2, from Debian snapshots, manually for the moment. - I opened a bug report upstream : https://bugs.launchpad.net/xpad/+bug/1967964 - Reading other bug reports upstream I saw that since version 5.5 of Xpad, they are preparing the ground for the switch to GTK4. And removed some support of the GTK3 framework. - THere was another bug after this change : clicking in the notification area no longer toggles the appearance of notes. As seen in the bug report n°1965034: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xpad/+bug/1965034. No solution for this one. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (970, 'testing'), (900, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.16.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages xpad depends on: ii libc6 2.33-7 ii libglib2.0-0 2.72.0-1+b1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.24.33-1 ii libgtksourceview-3.0-1 3.24.11-2+b1 ii libice6 2:1.0.10-1 ii libpango-1.0-0 1.50.6+ds-2 ii libsm6 2:1.2.3-1 xpad recommends no packages. xpad suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
