I've also tested linux-5.17.1 from experimental but it does not boot as expected :)
It could be interesting to know if there is any 32 bit pentium-m based platform with ICH4 controller that boots with any kernel in the range from 5.16.0 to 5.17.1 Anyway I think I will remain with my custom kernel , since linux 5.15.x is a long term version :)
