Source: harfbuzz Version: 2.7.4-1 Severity: wishlist Dear maintainers,
as your are undoubtedly aware there are several new upstream releases available, cf. <https://github.com/harfbuzz/harfbuzz/releases>. Among other things those stabilize the subset API as required for #988781, contain various build fixes that might help with #956646 and/or #944212, provide Unicode 14.0 support, extend the public API, support more than 65535 (the OpenType limit) glyph shapes and metrics, and much much more. Are there any reasons preventing to package any of those 19 new releases since the currently-packaged 2.7.4? Posing this admittedly rather loaded question here as I am wondering what is going on, and if there are indeed any such reasons please document them here ... Cheers, Flo
