Hallo, and it gets worse. Playing a YT video (720p) consumes about 300% CPU power and laptop running hot.
Doing the same with Chromium causes about 30% load, that's an order of magnitude! NOTE: this cannot be attributed to Video HW accelleration, I have enabled that in FF long time ago, following https://askubuntu.com/questions/1291279/ubuntu-20-10-firefox-82-intel-hd-500-vaapi-hardware-acceleration and https://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2021/08/enable-hardware-video-acceleration-va-api-for-firefox-in-ubuntu-20-04-18-04-higher/ . And it has been working well for months. The obvious reason would be the FF update. Basically, this version is garbage.
