Following discussion with the bug submitter offline, I've reassigned this bug from colordiff to apt-listdifferences
The error message comes from /usr/bin/colordiff-git which is included in the apt-listdifferences package -- colordiff-git stalled on the newer colordiff option 'difffile' in /etc/colordiffrc (where /etc/colordiffrc is provided by colordiff package). Maybe apt-listdifferences should just depend on colordiff directly rather than bundling a (potentially out of date) copy? Dave. -- Dave Ewart, [email protected]
