This bug is not a gcc-12 bug. It is a kernel cache flush or mmap aliasing issue causing corruption of anonymous pages.
Bug is random and only seen on PA8800/PA8900 machines. Latest gcc-12 package is now installed. -- John David Anglin dave.ang...@bell.net
