The ~/Maildir/ exists | Do you have set the correct mailboxtype? No other configuration has been set. | Mutt can read mbox, maildir and mh without any configuration options. | BUT, because mutt want to lock ~/sent it seems, that you have not | setup correctly mutt with | | set mbox_type=maildir | set folder="$HOME/Maildir/" | set spoolfile="$HOME/Maildir/" | set record="+sent/" | set postponed="+drafts/" Thank you, but this does not address the original problem, which: 1) Program's unability to send message in it's default configuration.
