Package: rutsc
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

while trying to keep track of the current Thunderbird beta versions
within experimental I noticed the build is failing due rutsc is detected
as too old. The following output is getting produced starting with
Thunderbird 105.0b1.

 0:05.70 checking for rustc... /usr/bin/rustc
 0:05.70 checking for cargo... /usr/bin/cargo
 0:05.94 checking rustc version... 1.59.0
 0:05.95 checking cargo version... 1.56.0
0:05.97 ERROR: Rust compiler 1.59.0 is too old.

0:05.97 To compile Rust language sources please install at least
0:05.97 version 1.61.0 of the 'rustc' toolchain (or, if using nightly,
0:05.97 at least one version newer than 1.61.0) and make sure it is
 0:05.97 first in your path.
 0:05.97
0:05.97 You can verify this by typing 'rustc --version'.
 0:05.97
0:05.97 If you have the 'rustup' tool installed you can upgrade
0:05.97 to the latest release by typing 'rustup update'. The
0:05.97 installer is available from https://rustup.rs/
 0:05.97

The current most stable marked version of rustc is 1.63.0, so could you
please update the rustc package to that version?

Thx & regards
Carsten
