If you're the sole user, you don't have to change 'allow-user-switching'. You can achieve what you want without touching this key. This is true for light-locker 1.8.0-3 and lightdm 1.26.0-8. With that said, I suspect the problem might be with lightdm and not light-locker. The output of light-locker in debug mode is attached. Manually calling SetActive() and SimulateUserActivity() methods with `dbus-send` has no effect (similar log messages are output).
