I too seem to be seeing this problem with evolution just as reported here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=280363
I did try to downgrade but 3.0.14-1+b1 didn't seem to be in the pool at https://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libi/libical3/ ? I am also sseing problems with reading ics file with kalarm and organizer. Not sure if these are also calling libical3.
