Hi, your packge build-depends on xlibs-pic which is present in xorg 6.9 but not in xorg 7.0. As soon as xorg6.9 will be removed your package will ftbfs. libsdl-ruby builds fine in pbuilder after removing the build-dependency. (the ubuntu-diff also removed the build-dep).
