Package: libffi8 Version: 3.4.3-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Since an `apt upgrade` yesterday on Debian unstable on an aarch64 system (imx8mq based, cortex-a53), all wayland compositors and clients stopped working, including sway, wayfire and weston. I narrowed it down to garbage data in the wayland client/server communication (or a data alignment issue). The most common failure was clients reporting "wl_shm@4: error 1: invalid size (0)" after the first wl_commit. `weston-info` shows bizarre data like negative screen sizes. Copying in libffi.so.8.1.0 (instead of libffi.so.8.1.1) from a rescue system made everything work again, and copying libffi.so.8.1.1 to the good system made things break there. Thanks, Lukas F.
