Just for the record: This issue has been reported upstream today in the GNOME gitlab:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/2795 confirming that a change in glib-2.74.1 caused the breakage. So, I guess this bug should be reassigned to glib2.0?
