Except it's not working yet actually... So I'm reopening this request, hoping that it might be processed quickly (gnome is really pulling the plug off now...) Here is the information: Name: orca Rationale: The gnome project is shutting down its mailing lists server at the end of October, in favor of its discourse server, and notably the orca-list mailing list about the Orca screen reader is thus getting shut down. The interaction with discourse however poses accessibility concerns, so Orca users would really much better like a mailing list, which is much simpler for them to subscribe to and browse archives. Using google groups etc. is out of question, so the idea of using the Debian lists infrastructure emerged. Short description: Orca screen reader developers and users Long description: This list is for developer and end user discussions of the Orca screen reader. Please visit the Orca WIKI at http://wiki.gnome.org/Orca for more information on Orca. Category: Other Subscription Policy: open Post Policy: open Web Archive: yes As for inviting other people interested in the new list, I could invite the hundred people of the existing orca list to post, but I'd rather not flood this bug report with it :) Samuel
