Dear Maintainer, This issue is with XFCE (while running under X2GO) There are details at: https://gitlab.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/-/issues/678#note_59619 >From another system (kubuntu in this case) create an X2GO session to a server running Debian SID (see below) , open the session: Result you are left with grey window (the X root window) Repeat the same exercise using LXDE, it works fine. On the Debain Server # dpkg -i libwnck-3-0_3.36.0-1_amd64.deb # apt-mark hold libwnck-3-0 Repeat the XFCE session via X2GO, it works fine. There is a comment in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libwnck/-/issues/154#note_1563621 Suggesting the offending change can be revereted without problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
