Hmmph, disregard what I just said a moment ago.  I somehow confused this with
the other bug I'm clearing up for this lot.

Remove the binary package you created from the wacom-kernel-source.
ie.  wacom-kernel-modules-<someversion> before you install the new
linux-image package.

Then if you still need the more recent module version, rebuild the
wacom-kernel-modules package again.
