Right, should've remembered to look there. :) People are poked, xorg
1:7.0.18 is now in unstable. Toufeeq, can you test this new version of the
xserver-xorg today when it becomes available on your mirror, to see if it
fixes your problem?

Negative Steve.
Fonts still don't turn up.

Just realised that all GTK1 based applications seem to be affected by
this. Since XMMS is the only app I use on a regular basis I've managed
to notice this.

My xserver-xorg packge is version 1:7.0.18

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg-query --show xserver-xorg
xserver-xorg 1:7.0.18

I've also checked up with the debian wiki :
http://wiki.debian.org/Xorg69To7 and made sure the fonts section is
correct. As earlier mentioned all my font-path's seem to point to
/usr/share/fonts/X11 .

Thanks,
Toufeeq
