PLease stay reasonable. This is a well known issue, and 10sec of typing pdftex papersize into google and you would have found TeX Frequently Asked QUestions of the TUG: http://www.tex.ac.uk/cgi-bin/texfaq2html?label=papersize where there is explicit mentioning of pdftex and the general problems with paper sizes. We try our best to make TeX easy for the users, but as it stands, TeX is not easy.
