I'm going through the old kernel bug reports, and I've found old bug
(#316681) which you've reported against the kernel 2.6.11. As this kernel
is no longer in Debian, I suspect that the problems you describe have been
since taken care of. Please let me know (preferrably, within two weeks)
whether your chipset is still causing problems with newer kernels, or this
bug can be safely closed now.
