Hi Helge, thank you very much for the detailed report and your suggestion!

I've heard of LFS before but I don't know much about it. Can it cause issues? 
Does it break ABI?

It could break ABI if you would export header files for functions which use the 
"struct dirent" structure
in the parameter list. This isn't the case for your package, so you are fine.

I'll be sure to fix this as soon as I'll receive a reply - oh and by the way, 
please Cc me in bug emails, the BTS is unable to send me emails (probably due 
to broken DMARC, DKIM, or something similar).
