I concur with this question. LilyPond doesn't support Guile 3.0
officially yet (although it does work, to the extent that it is
being tested at). It was painful for us to have LilyPond packaged
with several versions of Guile when we were still using Guile 1.8,
it would be great not to have that situation with Debian. The Guile
version makes a difference to the Scheme code you can write, so
compatibility issues are not hypothetical. Furthermore, I think
Guile 2.2 would still have value independently from LilyPond:
right now, compiling Guile 3.0 for Windows requires lots of patches
to be found in work-in-progress experimental branches, so
if you want to write portable software, you more or less need
to use Guile 2.2.

Thanks for your consideration.
