same remark as for #1028588: wouldn't it be better to name this "lomiri-telephony-services"?

The complete heavy lifting needs to be done upstream, though:

Valid point. I will start with src:pkg and bin:pkgs with executables and upload them under the lomiri-telephony-service namespace.
