Hello,
This bug still applies.

Upstream version 3.1.0 that fixes this bug was released in March 2022 already and the latest version is 3.1.2 from April 2022. Is it possible to update the package from this buggy version 3.0.3?

Changelog for these releases is available at github [1]. Version 3.1 fixes several bugs (including this one), drops some deprecated code and Python 3.6 support – which should not cause any problems in Bookworm with Python 3.10.

Thank you for maintaining the package,
Vojtech Myslivec
