Dear maintainer: During a rebuild of all packages in bookworm, your package failed to build: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [...] =============================================== short test summary info =============================================== FAILED tests/integration/test_parse.py::test_parse_write_with_progress - AttributeError: module 'inspect' has no attribute 'getargspec' FAILED tests/integration/test_parse.py::test_parse_write_with_progress_three_arg - AttributeError: module 'inspect' has no attribute 'getargspec' ===================================== 2 failed, 1702 passed, 17 skipped in 13.87s ===================================== make[1]: *** [debian/rules:19: override_dh_auto_install] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/sanvila/python-pycdlib-1.12.0+ds1' make: *** [debian/rules:7: binary] Error 2 dpkg-buildpackage: error: debian/rules binary subprocess returned exit status 2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The above is just how the build ends and I believe it's also the most relevant part. The failure also happens here with similar error message: https://tests.reproducible-builds.org/debian/rb-pkg/unstable/amd64/python-pycdlib.html About the archive rebuild: The build was made using virtual machines from Hetzner, with enough memory, enough disk, and either one or two CPUs, using a reduced chroot with only build-essential packages (plus debhelper). If you could not reproduce the bug please contact me privately, as I am willing to provide ssh access to a virtual machine where the bug is fully reproducible. If this is really a bug in one of the build-depends, please use reassign and affects, so that this is still visible in the BTS web page for this package. Thanks.
