Hi Mike, Here's what I did: sudo apt install libvncserver1=0.9.13+dfsg-2+deb11u1 sudo apt-get build-dep x11vncapt-cache policy libvncserver-dev # check installed version is 0.9.13+dfsg-2+deb11u1apt-get source x11vnc cd x11vnc-0.9.16/ dpkg-buildpackage # this failed to sign the package sudo dpkg -i ../x11vnc_0.9.16-7_amd64.deb pkill x11vnc x11vncand it all seems fine. Please let me know if I haven't done the steps you expected. I do use bullseye (with pinning for other versions at a lower priority). Thanks, Jayen
Thanks for your test. You did well!I will ask for a binNMU of x11vnc in Debian stable (a binary rebuild without version update). Then the issue should be off the table again. Sorry for the noise.
