Package: kitty

Version: 0.19.3-1

When starting Kitty terminal emulator i get popups that a new version is available.

As i consume kitty via package manager, this check doesn't help me.

I also think that this is privacy invading and collides with the privacy policy of debian.

There is a setting in /etc/xdg/kitty/kitty.conf that can be set to turn this check off.

update_check_interval 24

#: Periodically check if an update to kitty is available. If an update
#: is found a system notification is displayed informing you of the
#: available update. The default is to check every 24 hrs, set to zero
#: to disable.

I think this should be shipped with the package and set to 0.

Thanks for considering this bug report. Kitty and your maintainer ship is awesome!
