No. update-notifier was a transitional package built from
src:gnome-packagekit in jessie, so you (as maintainer) probably know
best what to do with this bug (e.g. close it as fixed in the version of
src:gnome-packagekit that dropped the transitional package (or even as
fixed in the version that introduced the transitional package since that
probably replaced the copyright file entirely)).
