Package: libk5crypto3 Version: 1.20-1 Severity: normal While updating libk5crypto3 from Bullseye to Bookworm version on a system running MariaDB with the GSSAPI plugin enabled it was discovered that restarting MariaDB results directly in it crashing on signal 11. Stack trace points to interaction on libkrb5.so.3 and libk5crypto.so.3.
Full details in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1035944 Issue was solved by simply updating libkrb5-3 from Bullseye to the Bookworm version. This suggests that in libk5crypto3 the existing Depends: libc6 (>= 2.33), libkrb5support0 (>= 1.16) should probably be updated to: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.33), libkrb5support0 (>= 1.20) This would pull in all these: libssl3 3.0.8-1 libgssapi-krb5-2 1.20.1-1+b1 libkrb5support0 1.20.1-1+b1 libkrb5-3 1.20.1-1+b1
