(Added Alberto in CC, as the issue might be connected with the
webkit2gtk security update:
https://lists.debian.org/debian-security-announce/2023/msg00029.html )

Through /var/log/dpkg.log I checked which upgrades of
libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 and libgtk-3-0 took place in my previous apt
upgrade.

With:

  apt install libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37=2.38.5-1~deb11u1
libjavascriptcoregtk-4.0-18=2.38.5-1~deb11u1
gir1.2-javascriptcoregtk-4.0=2.38.5-1~deb11u1
gir1.2-webkit2-4.0=2.38.5-1~deb11u1

I was then able to downgrade the packages and afterwards put libwebkit
on hold with:

  apt-mark hold libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37

After this temporary fix, I can again read my e-mails with astroid.

Thank you.
