Dear Maintainer, While trying to package newer versions of pyfastx, we noticed that upstream made use of the zran version shipped by indexed- gzip. For the moment I'm considering vendoring zran.c, zran.h, zran_file_util.c and zran_file_util.h in pyfastx build, but building against a properly packaged library would be ideal. I suspect exposing these components will involve introducing new packages (libzran1, libzran-dev?), so a round trip through NEW, hence the wishlist severity. Have a nice day, :) Étienne.
