There's a build-dependency on libgtk2.0-dev. Maybe it's unnecessary?
If so, it would be great if someone in a position to test it could do a
QA upload of libxsettings-client, dropping the B-D and closing #967594.
compiz-plugins-extra seems to be the only package in Debian that depends
or build-depends on libxsettings-client, so the maintainers of
compiz-plugins-extra are probably the best-placed to be able to test or
even adopt libxsettings-client.
