I plan to maintain this package within the Debian Cryptocoin team, as that's where monero and xmrig, which this software is designed to be used with, are also packaged. As I am only a DM, I will need a DD to sponsor the initial upload. This package is called p2pool-io because there is another project using the p2pool name that is essentially the Bitcoin equivalent of this one. Even though the other p2pool is not packaged in Debian, it has existed longer, seems to be more popular, and has had an RFP bug since 2012. My solution is to name this package p2pool-io, suggest the other one (when packaged) to be named p2pool-in, and for both to provide p2pool. -- Ben Westover
