As a workaround you can add

^WARN lin001w File `/(s?bin|lib)/.+' does not belong to any package\.$

to /etc/tiger/tiger.ignore to hide the report - if debian doesn't want
to patch the upstream code, it perhaps makes sense to ship this in
tiger.ignore by default
