retitle 1046406 polyphone: Fails to build source after build due to qmake leaving files around thanks
Lucas Nussbaum dixit: >> dpkg-source: info: local changes detected, the modified files are: >> polyphone-2.2.0.20210109+dfsg1/sources/qmake_qmake_qm_files.qrc >> dpkg-source: error: aborting due to unexpected upstream changes, see >> /tmp/polyphone_2.2.0.20210109+dfsg1-3.diff.vRHcxn AIUI the only reason this fails is due to the presence of the file sources/qmake_qmake_qm_files.qrc under the top-level source directory after the build, correct? This file does not exist in the source tarball, so this is something generated by qmake. It should follow that, logically, it’s also qmake’s job to clean it up on debian/rules clean, right? There does not seem¹ to be a corresponding bugreport in qmake yet. Dear qmake maintainers, should I reassign this one or what would you prefer? ① https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=qt5-qmake;dist=unstable Thanks, //mirabilos -- 22:20⎜<asarch> The crazy that persists in his craziness becomes a master 22:21⎜<asarch> And the distance between the craziness and geniality is only measured by the success 18:35⎜<asarch> "Psychotics are consistently inconsistent.
