I have made a change to digikam and uploaded 8.1.0-3 last night. It should avoid calling SSE 4 functions if only SSE 2 is detected. I'd appreciate if you could try it out and report back to this bug whether it fixes your crash or not. It's a bit of a shot in the dark since it doesn't affect the specific function pointed at in your back trace. Best, -Steve
