Package: m2crypto
Version: 0.38.0-4
Severity: important
Control: affects -1 + src:openssl
Control: tags -1 + upstream patch fixed-upstream

Hi,

As far as I can tell, m2crypto compiles and passes the testsuite if
compiled and run against openssl 3.0 or 3.1. What currently fails is if
m2crypto is compiled against 3.0 adn the testsuite run against 3.1. This
can be seen
        https://release.debian.org/britney/pseudo-excuses-experimental.html

https://ci.debian.net/data/autopkgtest/unstable/amd64/m/m2crypto/37743405/log.gz

I did a little testing and noticed that upstream already took care of
this with commit
957df43e0e16e ("OpenSSL changed error message yet again.")

https://gitlab.com/m2crypto/m2crypto/-/commit/957df43e0e16e6649bf4834c21ae63d0a80d9095

I can confirm that this change fixes the problem.
The commit in question is part of m2crypto 0.39.0. Could you please
upload m2crypto 0.39.0? :)

Sebastian
