Before I started bisecting the 6.1 kernel I thought I should re-examine the assumption that 6.1.0-9 was a good kernel, i.e. a kernel where accessing AFS volumes using kafs does not cause seg faults. I tested 6.1.0-2, 6.1.0-5, and 6.1.0-7 without success.
