Package: git
Version: 1:2.42.0-1
Severity: normal
File: /etc/bash_completion.d/git-prompt
X-Debbugs-Cc: j...@joshtriplett.org

/etc/bash_completion.d/git-prompt exists for compatibility with versions
of git prior to git 1.7.12, which is well over a decade old at this
point. Please consider dropping it, with a NEWS.Debian.gz entry telling
people to update their shell startup files to reference or copy
/usr/lib/git-core/git-sh-prompt directly.
