Package: ethereal Version: 0.10.10-2sarge5 Severity: minor While working with a large capture, I noticed that when I adjust column widths in the packet list, Ethereal selects the top packet visible in list, forgetting the one I've currently got selected. For example, I currently have packets 32066 through 32078 visible in my window, with 32070 selected. When I adjust the relative widths of the Time and Source columns, Ethereal selects 32066.
This behavior is unexpected and confusing. I'd normally expect the program to keep my current selection. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.29 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages ethereal depends on: ii ethereal-common 0.10.10-2sarge5 network traffic analyser (common f ii libadns1 1.0-8.2 Asynchronous-capable DNS client li ii libatk1.0-0 1.8.0-4 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22sarge3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libcomerr2 1.37-2sarge1 common error description library ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.4-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.4-3.1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libkrb53 1.3.6-2sarge2 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libpcap0.8 0.8.3-5 System interface for user-level pa ii libpcre3 4.5-1.2sarge1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4.sarge.2 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
