However, I'm wondering if the fix is required when the package will be re-uploaded to unstable, because the Build-Depends to libc6-dev was added to check the build against glibc 2.38 (#1043108)
When glibc 2.38 will be uploded to unstable, I expect do the same for libevent, without the builddep to libc6-dev.
Is that ok with you? /Nicolas
