That's #1015287. As written in msg#42 dropbear-initramfs doesn't configure the network by itself; all it does is calling initramfs-tools' configure_networking(). And that function currently doesn't support VLAN tags, which is what the aforementioned wishlist bug is about. > That said, sleep and cat are still not into the initramfs image.
